The Preaching Ministry
The Scriptures say in 1 Corinthians 1:21 "it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe."  We believe in the preaching of God's holy Bible, the 1611 King James Bible, to change people's lives, to encourage them, and to help them in in every area of their life!  Our services are preaching services!  Our Sermons page will soon be available for downloading the weekly preaching messages.

The Music Ministry
Bethel Baptist Church believes in singing the praises of the Lord!  We sing the old fashioned hymns from the hymnal.  There is special music each service from one of the many soloists or singing groups of the church.  The Bethel Baptist choir sings Christmas and Easter cantatas as well as other specials throughout the year.

The Sunday School Ministry
No matter who you are you will find a Sunday School class that's perfect for you! We offer two are general adult classes and a ladies only class taught by our Pastor's wife Mrs. Rosie Skiver.  We offer graded Sunday School classes from nursery to teens to meet the specific need of each age group.

The Abundant Life Club (ABL)
Our Abundant Live Club (ABL) meets on the fourth Thursday of each month for a time of food, fun and fellowship! Tom and Annie Saylor head up the senior program.  The program starts at 10am with singing, fellowship, preaching from God's Word and a great free meal.  The ABL is open to all senior citizens so come and join us!

The Teen Ministry
Bethel hosts one of the largest teen groups in all of Northeast Ohio.  Check out our Teen page for more information on this outstanding program for your teens.

The Bus Ministry
We offer free bus transportation for anyone who needs a ride to church from the Ravenna and Windham areas.  We believe that everyone should be able to go to church and we are thrilled that so many children and adults ride our busses each week.  Call today for your free ride!

 

 


The Missions Ministry
We believe strongly in reaching the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ!  We currently support over 105 missionaries around the globe.  The red dots on the map below represent some of the locations of our missionaries.

 

 

The Bethel Baptist Bikers Ministry

" Riding for Jesus "

Our Mission is to lead people to the Saving Knowledge of Jesus Christ through witnessing, visitation, prayer and fellowship! April 26, 2008 Bethel Baptist Church sponsored our first annual "Blessing of the Bikers". We are proud to have had a great response and pray that this event will grow larger each year. The real blessing was, people were won to Christ. The Bethel Baptist Bikers have a scholarsip fund for our Christian School as well.  Please Join Us!!
